July 19 & 20 Old Fashioned Farm Fair
Remember pie eating contests, needle in a haystack and other simple but fun games? Visit The Elegant Farmer for their Old Fashioned Farm Fair to participate in the fun & games for kids of all ages while enjoying your summer favorite grilled foods.
In addition, families are invited to take the train from the Elegant Farmer to The East Troy Electric Train depot to enjoy their Craft Fair on this same weekend.

August 16 & 17
Do-Si-Do Family Square Dancing Hoedown
Come see professional costumed square dancing troupe performing the Midwest’s own fine art of do-si-do. The whole family can take pleasure in the sights and sounds of this age old farm life tradition. Audience members will be encouraged to participate and learn the whirling, quick step moves. Festive farm food and games are also offered.
Families are invited to take the train from The Elegant Farmer depot to the East Troy Electric Railroad depot to view their Vintage Autos on display this same weekend.

Weekends September 6 -October 26 Autumn Harvest Festival, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Whether you’re continuing a family tradition or starting a new one this fall, The Elegant Farmer offers a family fun apple and pumpkin picking farm experience at its popular Autumn Harvest Festival. Welcomed by the famous Smilin’ Barn, kids get a chance to head to the farm’s orchard and pick 27 varieties of apples right from the tree or stroll over to the patch to select pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Featuring favorites like Granny, Red Delicious, Empire, Cortland and Jonathan apples, The Elegant Farmer also has the Ida Red apples featured in their famed Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag®.
