 Whether
you're continuing a family tradition or starting a new one this fall, The
Elegant Farmer offers a family fun apple and pumpkin picking farm experience at
its popular Autumn Harvest Festival weekends September 12 - October 31 .
Welcomed by the famous Smilin' Barn, kids get a chance to head to the farm's
orchard and pick 12 varieties of apples right from the
tree or stroll over to the patch to select pumpkins of all shapes and sizes.
Featuring favorites like Granny,
Red Delicious, Empire,
Cortland and Jonathan apples, The
Elegant Farmer also has the Ida Red apples featured in their famed
Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag®.

Southeast Wisconsin's beautiful fall colors aboard a tractor-pulled hayride or
vintage trolley ride before or after enjoying the bounty of food offerings in
The Elegant Farmer's Farm Kitchen, Bakery and Deli. The
East Troy Electric Railroad's turn-of-the-century trolley departs from
and returning to The Elegant Farmer Depot every 45 minutes from 11:40 a.m. to
4:10 p.m. The hayrides are $1 for kids and $3 for adults and the trolley ride
tickets are $12 for adults, $11 for Seniors, $7 for children 3-11 years and children
age 2 and under-free.
"This year's crop and varieties will be one of our best featuring a bounty of
sweet and tart flavors," tells The Elegant Farmer owner, John Bauer. "The real
delight for us each year is seeing the kids running from tree to tree picking,
tasting and laughing. It's a magical time on the farm creating wonderful
memories for generations."
 Adding
to the fun is the make-your-own caramel apple offered along with BBQ Pulled Pork
sandwiches, slices of pie a la mode and hot buttered apple cider. Take a
rest on the hay bales while telling your kids or grandkids about your own
childhood memories.
A wonderful shopping experience, The Elegant Farmer offers award winning
specialties in its Farm Kitchen Bakery, Deli & Market including its famed
Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag and delicious
CiderBaked Ham, fruity applesauces,
jumbo muffins & cookies,
