Farm Tours & Group Events

Educational & Fun Farm Tours are offered for groups of 20 or more. The following are the days, times and special offerings. We look forward to your visit! Groups that select lunch or any special offer must do it for the entire group so that no child is left out!

Dairylicious Hoedown - June 12 & 13, 2010

Swing your partner or just enjoy the sites and sounds of this age old farm dance tradition as Milwaukee's Swing Singles Squares show you how it is done. In full costume, these festive dancers share their love for this Midwest tradition. In addition to the dancing, the hoedown includes games, foods and more for groups to enjoy. The event is free and open to all. Group reservations requested in advance to make special parking arrangements and VIP treatment.

LUNCH/ Kid's Meal: $5.00 for kid meals of hot dog or sandwich, drink, cookie & chips.  Adult's Meal: $6.49 for deli sandwich, chips, drink and slice of dessert fruit bread.

Old Fashioned Farm Fair - July 17 & 18, 2010

Bring your group to enjoy an Old Fashioned Farm Fair complete with games, rocking horse rides, pie eating contests and more 11 a.m.-3 p.m. This fun farm event is free and open to all. Festive food and drinks offered. Group reservations requested in advance to make special parking arrangements and VIP treatment.

LUNCH/ Kid's Meal: $5.00 for kid meals of hot dog or sandwich, drink, cookie & chips.  Adult's Meal: $6.49 for deli sandwich, chips, drink and slice of dessert fruit bread.

Hayrides & Apple Orchard Tours
September & October 2010

Climb aboard The Elegant Farm hayride for an educational weekday tour of the farm and apple orchard. Each participant picks their own apple in the orchard and pumpkin in the patch. Tours are approximately one hour.

GROUP COSTS: Weekdays only Hayride & Apple Orchard Tours $5.00 per person including an apple and pumpkin. Lunch can be included for an additional $5.00 per person featuring sandwich, chips, cider and a cookie. For a treat, add a stop at the Make-Your-Own Caramel Apple stand in our greenhouse for $2.50 per person.

Christmas Express Santa Train
Dec. 4, 5,11 & 12, 2010

Come one, come all to celebrate the holidays with Santa and his helper aboard the Christmas Express.  Board the East Troy Electric Railroad's vintage trains at The Elegant Farmer Depot on the hour 11 a.m.-4 p.m. for this round trip ride.  Enjoy holiday snacks and story reading with Mr. & Mrs. Claus.  Groups are welcome with pre-registration required.

TICKETS: The train rides with Santa are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
