Description
Come ride the rails on the 2023 Wisconsin Wine & Cheese Train! The East Troy Electric Railroad’s beautifully restored dinner car features an Art Deco vintage interior and provides air conditioning for those hot summer days. The two-hour round trip journeys through the picturesque woods and charming towns of Mukwonago and East Troy. The train departs and returns to The Elegant Farmer Depot, 1545 Main Street (Hwys ES & J), Mukwonago.
The event features wine connoisseur and sommelier Linnea Trampe who will talk about and sample a selection of fine Wisconsin wines paired with the various cheeses. The Elegant Farmer’s owner and cheese expert Keith Schmidt will discuss the cheeses and share information about the highlighted artisan cheesemakers.
